500g egg noodles - blanched in boiled water for 2 mins
1 fried chicken - cut into pieces. Alternatively you can always just use any type of chicken
2 fluffy tofu - chopped
1 potato - boiled and chopped into pieces
1 egg
1 spinach - 1 cup of chopped greens of your choice.
Season to taste with salt, sugar & pepper.
*Dried chilli sambal is essentially made from Dried chillies boiled in hot water. Drained and blended in the food processor.
- Fry it in a wok with oil on medium heat for about 20-30 mins untill the oil separates and the paste turns dark red. You can also add blended shallots and Belachan (shrimp paste) to enhance flavors. Don't forget to season with sugar.
-The sambal paste can be stored in a jar and kept in the fridge or freezer and use it as a base for other yummy Malaysian dishes! Alternatively, check your local supermarket or Asian grocers to find ready made sambal which would work perfectly fine :)
