Ingredients:
1 Fish
8 cloves of Garlic
5g of shrimp paste (belacan)
8 Shallots
8 Chillies
2 Tbsp of Oil
1 calamansi or lime
Salt to taste
Steps to prepare:
Sprinkle some salt over the fish.
Place the fish in a baking pan and pour oil over fish.
Pre-heat oven at 200 celsius and grill the fish in the oven for 40 minutes.
Blend garlic, shrimp paste, shallots and chilies.
Heat up 2 Tbsp of oil and stir fry the blended ingredients until fragrant. The colour of the chili paste should be darker when it is ready.
Take fish out and place chili paste on the fish.
Add slices of calamansi or lime.
Dish out and enjoy!
